ISE LOGISTICS LIMITED – STATEMENT REGARDING GDPR
On May 25, 2018, the present Data Protection Act of 1998 will be replaced by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Despite Brexit, GDPR will still be in effect and have an impact on all firms who handle or process personal data. It will provide data subjects additional rights that will give them greater say in how their data is handled. Organisations will be subject to new duties and requirements, such as the requirement to show compliance.
ISE Logistics Limited has been devoted to high standards of information security, privacy, and openness, and we welcome the implementation of GDPR in May 2018. ISE Logistics Limited has always made data protection and information security a core aspect of our operations.
In addition to closely collaborating with our partners and clients to fulfil our contractual commitments for our goods and services across all industries, ISE Logistics Limited will adhere to all applicable GDPR regulations as they come into effect. ISE Logistics Limited has already recruited a Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance.
Our GDPR Principles are:
- Data is processed fairly and lawfully
- Data is processed only for specified and lawful purposes
- Processed data is adequate, relevant and not excessive
- Processed data is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
- Data is not kept longer than necessary
- Data is processed in accordance with an individual’s consent and rights
- Data is kept secure
- Data is not transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area (‘EEA’) without adequate protection
The impact of the GDPR on our customer base is fully acknowledged by ISE Logistics Limited, and as a result, we remain committed to helping customers meet their GDPR obligations.
