What is volumetric weight?
Volumetric weight converts the space occupied by a package into an equivalent weight. It is compared with the shipment's actual gross weight for rating.
Which divisor should I use?
Different carriers and services use different divisors. The calculator provides 6,000 for a typical air-freight estimate and 5,000 as a common express basis. ISE Logistics will confirm the correct basis in a formal quote.
Can I use the guides as customs advice?
The guides provide general operational information. Commodity, destination and regulatory requirements vary, so confirm shipment-specific requirements before dispatch.
